SURE FAQ
SURE (Shenandoah University Research Expo) is an annual event featuring students’ research and creative projects. It was formerly known as the Student Project and Research Symposium (SUpr Summit).
Current registered undergraduate and graduate students, whose faculty mentors approve their abstracts, are eligible to be considered for inclusion in SURE.
Faculty mentors are professors who agree to guide you through the process of preparing your abstract and presentation for submission. Be sure to reach out to faculty before getting started on your abstract.
We will accept applications from December 1, 2023 until March 1, 2024.
We will notify students of their status on a rolling basis, but no later than two business days after the final deadline.
You will need to record a brief presentation of your work (roughly five minutes). We will provide guidelines on what to include in your presentation, how to record it, and how to upload it to the SURE site.
You do not need to be present to participate.
